MT. ARLINGTON, N.J. – The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) has announced that Dave Sutton, general manager, Auction Sales & Operations, VW Credit, Inc., and Nick Peluso, senior vice president of customer relations and strategies, Manheim, have joined the organization’s board.

Sutton has worked to coordinate the used-car strategies of VW, Audi, and VW Credit, and is currently responsible for auction logistics, sales, and technical operations for VW and Audi in North America. Previously, Sutton worked as a business strategist with EDS, General Motors, IBM, Cadbury-Schweppes, and Volkswagen.

Prior to 1994, Sutton worked as a quality improvement trainer and was a regional H.R. manager leading college relations and recruiting efforts for EDS.

Responsible for managing the commercial sales and dealer sales teams, Peluso was promoted to his current role in 2002 from president of Remarketing Solutions. He remains a Remarketing Solutions Advisory Board member.

Prior to joining Manheim in October 2000, Peluso was vice president of sales & marketing for ADT Automotive, Inc. He joined ADT Automotive in May 1990 as regional director of sales and, in 1992, he was promoted to director of sales, with a primary focus on directing the company’s national sales team. Before joining ADT Automotive, Peluso, a native of Oakland, Calif., was with Cenval Leasing of Walnut Creek, Calif., where he held various positions.
