ATLANTAAutoTrader.com has announced its partnership with nationally recognized auto expert and "Car Coach" Lauren Fix, who will assist with building brand awareness and enhancing the company’s image as a source for consumers looking for vehicles and automotive information.

Fix brings with her an audience of women and the ability to raise awareness of what AutoTrader.com has to offer to consumers of this key demographic. Since research shows women between the ages of 18 to 49 have the final say in 85 percent of all automotive decisions, AutoTrader.com believes incorporating Fix’s expert knowledge into its outreach and information-sharing programs is one avenue to further its reach with this influential group.

Fix can already be seen from coast-to-coast on local morning and midday television shows. She has made appearances on CNN, "The View," "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "TODAY" and many other national programs. Additionally, AutoTrader.com and Fix have already collaborated on an appearance she made on TBS’ "Movie and a Makeover."

In partnering with AutoTrader.com, Fix will continue to make TV and radio appearances on the company’s behalf and take part in AutoTrader.com-sponsored events. She will also supply content for AutoTrader.com’s Research & Compare module, which provides visitors with information on industry trends, car purchasing guides and auto upkeep tips.

In addition to acting as a corporate spokesperson Fix is the host and automotive expert for “Talk 2 DIY Automotive;” a show on the Do-It-Yourself Network (DIY) that provides in-depth tips and demonstrations on auto repair. She is authoring a highly anticipated car guide, Lauren Fix’s Essential Guide to Car Smarts, to be released by St. Martins Press and recently completed a tour with "O, The Oprah Magazine" for Oprah’s Live Your Best Life Tour as the automotive expert. She has earned many awards in her career including the 2003 International Automotive Media Award for Public Service, the 2005 and 2006 Automotive Communications Council’s Best PR Effort Awards, and she is currently a finalist in the Marketing Campaign of the Year category of the 3rd Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
