ATLANTA – OVE.com has created a new workshop designed to help dealers take advantage of online vehicle wholesaling to improve profitability. The first Wholesale Institute seminar will take place March 13-14, in Orlando, Fla., and will be taught by Greg Lubrani, a 20-year automotive veteran.
“The purpose of The Wholesale Institute is to help dealers minimize the risks associated with running a successful used-car dealership or department and increase gross profits,” said Jim McKnight, president of OVE.com. “By attending The Wholesale Institute, dealers will eliminate fears about new technologies, discuss best practices with fellow dealers, and learn how to utilize a variety of online resources to achieve their profit goals.”
With used-vehicle departments contributing more to overall dealership profitability, many dealers are using new technologies to help manage their used-vehicle inventories more efficiently, according to OVE.com.The Wholesale Institute will host additional seminars in Dallas, Phoenix, Orlando, and Charlotte, N.C., later in the spring.

Lubrani, the course instructor, has experience as a used-car department manager, rental car company retail sales executive, auction business development manager, and vehicle-marketing director for a major lender.
