PHOENIX – DriveTime, a used-car sales and finance company serving people with credit problems, will add more than 400 new employees to dealerships and inspection centers across the country, as well the company's home office and call center located in Arizona.

The additional hiring comes on the heels of the company’s addition of more than 20 dealerships over the past two years. This year, DriveTime is expected to open 15 more dealerships in new regions such as Greensboro, N.C., and Denver. DriveTime currently employs more than 2,700 people in 98 dealerships in nine states.

DriveTime is hiring retail, sales, loan servicing, and training associates as well as executive and administrative positions in the Phoenix home office and call center, and throughout its 98 dealerships. The company has received several "Best Places to Work" awards and continues to expand its community outreach program called SchoolTime.
