CENTREVILLE, VA – Carfax has introduced a new value-added dealer service called Service Link, which incorporates service and maintenance records into its Carfax Vehicle History Reports.

Each time a vehicle is brought in for maintenance, a service record is created, including the service performed, odometer reading, date, and the participating dealership’s name and contact information.

Service Link is designed to increase revenue for Carfax-subscribing fleet management companies and dealership service bays as well as provide detailed vehicle histories and maintenance reports in both the retail and wholesale markets every time the vehicle is serviced.

According to Carfax, at resale, vehicles with Carfax Service Link, on average, sell for $300 more than those vehicles without Service Link, providing a positive benefit to a fleet’s bottom line.
