ATLANTA – In just its second year, AutoExtra.com, an online used-vehicle database, experienced an increase in consumer traffic in September. According to Web Trends, a global Web analytics market company, visitors reached an all-time high of more than 2.1 million, up 51 percent from September of last year. Additionally, page views were up 222 percent and the site increased its inventory by 34 percent.
Launched in February 2005, AutoExtra.com is relatively new to the used-automotive business. New site enhancements for 2007 will include advanced vehicle search functions and greater Web page dimension.
