Varvel Named ADESA's GM of the Year

CARMEL, IN – Harold Varvel, GM of ADESA Cincinnati/Dayton, was named ADESA’s general manager of the year at a special company dinner held at SeaWorld in Orlando, Fla., Sept. 28. The award was based on input from ADESA’s national accounts, general managers, corporate sales team, and corporate management.

Varvel has been at ADESA Cincinnati/Dayton, formerly known as Tri-State Auto Auction, since Dec. 1987. He originally served as its fleet and lease manager. He was named the auction’s general manager in 1990 and has since served in this capacity. ADESA purchased the auction in 1992 and it became ADESA Cincinnati/Dayton.
