ATLANTA – Manheim Automotive Financial Services (MAFS), in conjunction with Manheim’s Orlando Orange County Auto Auction, has opened its first satellite office in Jacksonville, Fla. This first-of-its-kind location will provide dealers with all the services that traditional auction locations offer, including onsite staffing, diverse financial options, and access to online services.

MAFS services include inventory financing for automobiles, big trucks, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles as well as rental car financing and dealer receivables. MAFS customers also benefit from savings associated with Manheim’s group property insurance plan. More than 15,000 dealers use MAFS.

MAFS and other Manheim services were previously housed inside auction locations. Manheim decided to develop the satellite office to better serve its customers while bringing services to dealers in areas where Manheim does not have an auction.

After research, Jacksonville was chosen as an ideal location for the first satellite office. According to Tony Markese, Manheim’s Orlando Orange County Auto Auction general manager, there are 387 Jacksonville-based dealers who are unable to take advantage of MAFS because the closest Manheim operating location is in Daytona Beach, more than 100 miles away.

The satellite office will feature computer workstations and ongoing training sessions. Dealers will be able to access Manheim Simulcast, Online Vehicle Exchange, and other Manheim products. The Jacksonville satellite office also plans to accept payments for vehicles purchased at other Manheim auctions, making it more convenient for dealers.

The Jacksonville office will employ an office manager, Tamara Porter, and a salesperson, Jennifer Fiore. Manheim is currently developing other satellite locations to better serve its customers.
