ATLANTA - Manheim's Total Resource Auctions (TRA) network of salvage wholesale auctions has expanded to 27 locations nationwide with the addition of TRA Central Florida in Orlando and TRA Daytona in Daytona Beach.

TRA Central Florida will hold weekly TRA sales each Wednesday at noon. The operating location held damaged and inoperable vehicle auctions for 14 years until 2003 and will begin offering sales through TRA with an experienced staff and established customer base.

Damaged vehicle sales at TRA Central Florida will be held in a newly constructed facility located on more than five acres adjacent to the Central Florida Auto Auction. The operating location features TRA customer parking and is equipped with Manheim Simulcast technology. TRA Central Florida will display damaged and inoperable vehicles through a live video feed in the facility's 2,500-square-foot air-conditioned theater, which features two 10-foot-by-12-foot screens as opposed to displaying vehicles through photographs.

TRA Daytona will host monthly salvage sales on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. at Manheim's Daytona Auto Auction. The first official salvage sale at TRA Daytona will be held Aug. 22 at 10 a.m.

TRA Daytona is expected to offer more than 100 damaged and inoperable vehicles at each sale, which will also feature Manheim Simulcast technology.

TRA allows buyers and sellers to securely exchange damaged, inoperative and salvage vehicles through Manheim's TRA locations and Web-based products, including Simulcast.
