ATLANTA – Effective Aug. 1, Manheim will make several organization changes to maximize the company’s ability to both build on the strength of its operating locations and on its service offerings.
Jamie Porter has been named executive vice president, service businesses, reporting to president and CEO Dean Eisner. Porter was previously executive vice president of operations. In his new position, Porter will focus on the growth of services offered to Manheim’s existing and potential customers, including the use of marshaling, inspections, financing, transportation, title management, and reconditioning and repairs services. He will develop products in these areas for use in the United States and other markets. Porter’s role will include evaluating partnerships and investments, as well as launching new services that enhance the value to Manheim’s remarketing customers.
Mike Broe, most recently CFO and senior vice president of finance, will become senior vice president of operations, responsible for Manheim’s 86 operating locations in the United States, and will report to Eisner. Manheim’s operating locations host thousands of dealers every week. These locations also serve as a key platform for the delivery of many of the services Manheim offers to its buying and selling customers. Broe will also oversee the best practices organization.
Joe Luppino, formerly vice president and chief information officer, will become Manheim’s senior vice president and chief financial officer, responsible for all finance functions, and he will continue to oversee the technology area. He will report to Eisner. Luppino will manage compliance, financial reporting, and operating analysis and will continue the process of business planning at both the corporate and business-unit level. Luppino will also continue to provide oversight to Manheim Technology, which will be headed by Bill Fielding, newly promoted vice president of technology.
