MT. ARLINGTON, NJ – The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) has announced that Jane Morgan of ADESA will discuss the new arbitration policy recently approved by the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA) at IARA’s upcoming 6th Annual Summer Roundtable series conference in San Diego July 26-28. Morgan will review how the policy applies to vehicle sales made online as well as at the auction facilities. The conference begins at the San Diego OMNI Hotel July 26 at 5 PM with a welcome reception.

The OMNI Room block has been extended; however, if the OMNI is sold out at the time of your reservation, the following nearby hotels currently have availability: Hilton San Diego Gaslamp: 401 K St., (619) 231-4040 ($259/night); San Diego Marriott, Gaslamp: 660 K St., (619) 696-0234 ($249/night), Comfort Inn Gaslamp: 660 G St., (619) 238-4100 ($169/night). All hotels are just one or two blocks away from the OMNI.

The IARA conference will feature remarketing transportation leaders as Transportation Roundtable moderators. Don Fowler of Data Scan Services will lead the Transportation Roundtable session assisted by Mark Jensen of AutoTradeCenter and Dwight Grovum of Akinvest. The interactive session will discuss present obstacles and solutions to more effectively transport remarketed vehicles.

This summer’s meeting includes Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training and also nationally known keynote speaker Richard Fenton, author of Go For No, a book about the willingness to accept failure as a way to achieve success. In his book, Fenton inspires readers to break through self-imposed limitations and achieve their full potential by embracing the word “no” and intentionally increasing their failure rate, resulting in an increase in personal productivity. In this session, participants will learn:

  • How increasing your failure rate leads to increased performance.

  • That failing and being a failure are two very different things.

  • The primary restraining force that holds people back.

  • The five failure levels and how to progress through them.

  • Why you must have no goals to reach your full potential.

  • How to get past rejection quickly and easily.

This session is designed for salespeople, network marketing, entrepreneurs, and anyone who must overcome failure and rejection to be successful. The program is available as a 45-90-minute keynote or breakout session to meet your specific needs. Maximum group size is 50 attendees.

Registration is now available via IARA’s Web site: www.iaraonline.org. Registration fee for IARA members is $495 and $595 for non-members. Full refund will be granted by written request recieved before July 19.
