ATLANTA – Manheim’s Butler Auto Auction in Cranberry Township, Pa., has joined the Total Resource Auctions (TRA) network of salvage wholesale auctions and will hold salvage sales under the TRA Pittsburgh banner.

“We are extremely excited to be part of Manheim’s very successful Total Resource Auctions and look forward to setting new standards of customer service in our regional salvage market,” said Butch Zattiero, TRA Pittsburgh salvage manager. “We will have a unique opportunity to meet the needs of all salvage buyers by offering vehicles from a wide variety of consignors.”

TRA Pittsburgh, the 21st TRA location, will hold its first salvage auction June 16, and offer more than 150 salvage units with both lightly damaged vehicles and more heavily damaged late-model vehicles. The sale will feature insurance, rental, fleet/lease, and dealer consignments.

Butler Auto Auction is a 15-lane facility situated on 80 acres with vehicle storage areas exceeding 190 acres. Butler Auto Auction is host to weekly Dealer Consignment and Fleet/Lease sales every Wednesday, along with regularly scheduled closed sales for General Motors, Ford and DaimlerChrysler.

TRA Pittsburgh will host salvage sales every other Friday at 9 a.m.

TRA allows buyers and sellers to securely exchange damaged, inoperative, and salvage vehicles through Manheim’s TRA locations and Web-based products, including Simulcast.
