ATLANTA – Kathy Decker has been promoted to vice president and general manager of Manheim Automotive Financial Services (MAFS), it was announced today. In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the MAFS floor planning business.

Decker has worked for Manheim for nine years and most recently served as director of treasury operations. Prior to joining Manheim, Decker worked in commercial banking for 16 years. She took Leon Lyon’s position at MAFS upon his retirement and now reports to Mike Broe, senior vice president and chief financial officer.

MAFS provides used car dealers with inventory financing (floor planning), rental inventory financing and dealer insurance services. More than 8,000 dealers use MAFS. MAFS allows dealers to optimize inventory dollars, increase fleet size and benefit from the savings associated with Manheim’s group insurance plan.
