INDIANAPOLIS – Auction Broadcasting Company (ABC) recently named Joe Samuel as general manager of the ABC Nashville Auto Auction, effective immediately. Since July 2005, Samuel has served in an executive capacity for ABC, with special emphasis in the area of strategic planning.

As general manager of ABC Nashville, Samuel sees tremendous growth opportunities, and plans on strategically expanding the auction's services. “The Nashville market has almost limitless potential and my goal is to see the auction capitalize on that," comments Samuel. "I believe we can expect – through onsite auctions and Internet sales – to see exponential growth in the next 6-12 months that will solidify ABC Nashville's regional position and enhance bottom-line profits.”

Samuel began his career in the auto auction business more than 18 years ago, with a sales job at ADT. Promoted to assistant general manager of ADT Arena Auto Auction in Chicago, Samuel worked at ADT for more than five years before leaving to handle ADESA's West Coast Sales operations for one and a half years. From there, Samuel served as general manager of ADESA New Jersey for four years.

Samuel previously served as general manager of ABC Indianapolis and ABC Washington/Dulles from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, he returned to ADESA New Jersey for one year, and rejoined the ABC team in July 2005.
