RIO LINDA, CA – Departing from its traditional routine of the past 27 years, Brasher’s Sacramento Auto Auction will celebrate its 28th anniversary with a two-day event March 27-28, that will include evening dinner and entertainment before a 200-vehicle sale, with more than 3,000 vehicles.
Brasher’s has themed its 28th anniversary celebration in Sacramento as “A World of Thanks,” and will give away more than $50,000 in prizes that will include a variety of travel packages to various locations around the globe. According to General Manager Rex Roden, auction customers qualify for the prize drawings every time they buy or sell a vehicle in March.
On March 27, the auction will host a dinner at the auction facility featuring international cuisine catered by five different area restaurants. The auction’s guests will be entertained by strolling magicians and celebrity impersonators, followed by a stand-up comedian in Brasher’s own “comedy club.” Following the show, Brasher’s will open two lanes for a 200-vehicle auction.
On March 28, the auction will roll out the red carpet for its biggest sale of the year, when more than 3,000 vehicles will cross the auction block. Featured consignors will include Ford Credit, Mike Albert Leasing, Hertz, Bank of America, WFS Financial, RSCU, Donlen, ARI, AL Financial, Lobel Financial, and DTG, in addition to large consignments from major new- and used-car dealers from the greater Sacramento area.
Brasher’s Sacramento Auto Auction holds a weekly consignment sale on Tuesdays starting at 8:45 a.m., and a monthly Ford Factory sale every fourth Thursday at 10 a.m. It is one of five auctions owed by the Brasher family, and is a member of the ServNet Auction Group.
