ATLANTA – Manheim recently presented its first Automotive Woman of the Year Scholarship to Elisa Newball, a junior at Northwood University in Midland, Mich. The Automotive Woman of the Year Scholarship is tied to the company’s Automotive Woman of the Year award, which funds the scholarship for female students at Northwood University.
Newball, a triple-major student with an interest in automotive marketing, will receive a $15,000 full-tuition scholarship for the 2005-2006 academic year.
Manheim’s first Automotive Woman of the Year award was presented earlier this year. The award, which honors a woman who has been a leader in her profession and has contributed to improving the automotive industry, went to Marcy Maguire, president of Maguire Automotive Group in East Windsor, N.J.
