ATLANTA – Manheim’s Metro Milwaukee Auto Auction in Caledonia, Wis., has become the 13th Manheim auction to offer advanced salvage auction services under the Total Resource Auctions (TRA) brand.

“We’ve been selling salvage and inoperable vehicles for years in this market,” said Dennis Worthy, Metro Milwaukee Auto Auction general manager. “We have great, loyal salvage customers – both consignors and buyers – and we think operating under the TRA format will help us better serve those clients and attract new ones.”

Metro Milwaukee holds TRA salvage sales every other Wednesday at 8 a.m. in addition to its weekly consignment and bi-weekly closed factory sales. Worthy said Manheim’s reputation will be deciding factors for buyers and sellers currently doing business elsewhere, and he expects to have enough volume for weekly TRA sales in the future.

Currently the auction is running up to 150 vehicles at each of its TRA sales. Buyers are able to participate in the lanes or online via Manheim Simulcast. Every one of the auction’s 16 lanes is equipped with Simulcast technology.

TRA allows buyers and sellers to securely exchange damaged, inoperative and salvage vehicles through Manheim’s TRA locations and Web-based products, including Simulcast and Online Vehicle Exchange. More Manheim auction locations are expected to be added to the TRA network by the end of the year.
