DALLAS - DriveTime, an integrated used-car sales and finance company, has opened its 22nd Texas-based dealership in Plano.

DriveTime spent $415,000 on building costs and site improvements for the new location. The company employs more than 400 people in Texas, including eight stores in or near Dallas, nine dealerships in San Antonio, and three in Austin. The company plans to open a 23rd Texas-based dealership in Austin in November.
