ATLANTA — Manheim’s Clanton’s Auto Auction in Darlington, S.C., has joined the Total Resource Auctions network of wholesale salvage auctions.

The auction is conducting its Total Resource Auctions salvage sales every other Thursday in addition to its weekly dealer consignment and factory sales. Buyers are able to participate in the lanes or online via Simulcast.

“This auction has great potential to excel in the salvage segment,” said General Manager Cotton Edwards. “We have an existing customer base that will immediately benefit from enhanced salvage services, and as that customer base begins to expand, we have the physical capacity and technology to meet any and all needs our salvage customers have.”

Edwards said the auction expects to soon move to a weekly Total Resource Auctions sale in response to increased salvage and inoperable vehicle volume. Partnerships with insurance and rental companies, he added, will ultimately bring volumes that will enable the auction to Simulcast salvage sales from many lanes at once.
