MT. ARLINGTON, NJ - The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) announced that the feedback assessments from the recent IARA Roundtable Meeting held July 27-29 in Atlanta and at the Manheim DRIVE Center have been compiled.

Almost all of the 129-plus attendees returned the meeting assessment forms. “The information contained valuable direction points for the IARA to take under consideration. The Alliance strives to be guided by the industry members,” said IARA President Steve Houston.

The attendees also completed an assessment form on the proposed IARA Certification Program. The majority was strongly in favor of the alliance pursuing this project. All comments were then complied and sent to all IARA Board members.

The record number of attendees was greatly in favor of the IARA continuing further discussions on the topics of benchmarking; vehicle values; technology and best-selling practices; and the area vehicle dealers panel.

The next IARA Roundtable meeting will be held Mar. 8, 2006, in Las Vegas in conjunction with the Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR 2006) at the Caesar’s Palace Hotel.
