ATLANTA – Mike Broe, formerly senior vice president of new business ventures at Manheim, has been promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer. Broe will be responsible for all finance related functions within Manheim, including accounting, treasury, real estate, and Manheim Automotive Financial Services.

In his former position, Broe worked extensively on growing and developing new business in areas such as auto body repair and online vehicle exchange.

Broe began his career with Manheim in 1987 as finance manager of Minneapolis Auto Auction. He served as factory manager there and as assistant general manager of Portland Auto Auction before being named auction manager at Portland in early 1997. In July 1997, Broe was promoted to general manager of Portland Auto Auction. In 1999, he transferred to Texas Hobby Auto Auction as general manager, a position he held until May 2001 when he was named a group vice president of operations. In October 2002, Broe was promoted to vice president of human resources and career development and moved to Manheim’s home office in Atlanta. Broe graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in business.
