ATLANTA – AutoTrader.com/ has appointed Dave Amundsen to vice president of finance. In his new role, Amundsen will oversee the groups responsible for financial planning and analysis and will continue to oversee the groups he was responsible for in his previous position at AutoTrader.com as controller – billing, collections, accounting and financial reporting. He reports directly to Bill Templeton, chief financial officer.

Amundsen worked for 13 years in finance. Previously, he was with AutoTrader.com's parent company Cox Enterprises Inc., progressing from senior accountant to manager of financial reporting in just five years. He also worked as an auditor at Deloitte & Touche. Amundsen is a CPA and holds a bachelor of science degree from Auburn University.
