ATLANTA – ABC Atlanta has added an assistant general manager and two lanes. ABC Atlanta, formerly Red Top Auto Auction until last September, has experienced exponential growth in the last six months.

ABC Atlanta has promoted its former Fleet/Lease Manager Corey Sanford to the position of assistant general manager to help with day-to-day operations and new business accounts. Sanford has more than eight years experience in the auto auction business, having worked for Manheim as a regional Internet sales manager and for ADESA as a general sales manager.

Sanford came to ABC Atlanta in September 2004. "In my new position as assistant general manager, I focus on daily operations as well as on acquiring new fleet/lease and rental accounts. Our auction will also be installing ABC's Internet sales system, OnLine Ringman."

In addition to a new assistant general manager, ABC Atlanta is also adding two new lanes to make it a four-lane auction. "Our volume of business has picked up so we need four lanes to handle the increase," explains Sanford. "With four lanes, we will be able to run approximately 150 cars in each lane."

ABC Atlanta unveiled its new auction lanes at a Grand Opening Auction, Fri., May 6. "During the auction, everyone who bought or sold a car was entered for a chance to win a four-passenger SeeDoo jet boat," said Sanford

"One of the reasons for our significant growth is the fact that we joined ABC last September," continues Sanford. "Just having the ABC name behind us has made a huge difference.”
