INDIANAPOLIS – One of Auction Broadcasting Company's (ABC) newest auction sites, ABC Atlanta, has hired an assistant general manager and will add two lanes. ABC Atlanta, formerly Red Top Auto Auction, has promoted former Fleet/Lease Manager Corey Sanford to the position of assistant general manager to help with day-to-day operations and new business accounts. Sanford has more than eight years experience in the auto auction business, having worked for Manheim as a regional Internet sales manager and for ADESA as a general sales manager. He came to ABC Atlanta in September 2004.

In addition to a new assistant general manager, ABC Atlanta will add two new lanes to make it a four-lane auction. "Our volume of business has picked up so we need four lanes to handle the increase," explains Sanford. "With four lanes, we will be able to run approximately 150 cars in each lane."

ABC Atlanta plans to unveil its new auction lanes at a Grand Opening Auction May 6 at 11 a.m. " We'll have lunch for everyone before the auction," continues Sanford. "During the auction, everyone who buys or sells a car will be entered for a chance to win a four-passenger SeeDoo jet boat."
