ATLANTA – Manheim has announced dates and times for its popular “Hundred Grander” sales in 2005. The schedule for upcoming “Hundred Grander” sales is:

  • West Palm Beach Auto Auction in Florida will host the first “Hundred Grander” of 2005 on March 15 at 4 p.m.

  • Manheim Auto Auction in Manheim, Pa., will hold a sale April 20 at 4 p.m.

  • Greater Nevada Auto Auction, located in Las Vegas, will host two “Hundred Grander” sales this year – May 19 and again on Dec. 29. Both sales will be held at 4 p.m.

    Each sale will feature hundreds of vehicles valued at more than $100,000 each. Dealers can buy cars at the auction, where Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes, Rolls-Royce, and many other elite nameplates will run through the lanes, or participate online via Simulcast. Vehicles from dealers’ lots across the country will also be offered for sale through Simulcast to a worldwide audience.

    In previous “Hundred Grander” sales, several vehicles have been offered with reserves in excess of $500,000, and recently a vehicle sold for $480,000 – an all-time record for a single vehicle sale, said Michael Lasini, Manheim vice president, national accounts.

    Manheim anticipates additional “Hundred Grander” sales later this year.
