LAS VEGAS — The 10th Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR 2005) will be held Feb. 16-18 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

On Fri., Feb. 18, Dean Eisner, president and chief executive officer of Manheim Auctions, will present his keynote speech on The Next Five Years (a special study report). Prior to joining Manheim, Eisner served as vice president of business development for Cox Enterprises, Inc. (Manheim’s parent company) for nearly six years. During that time, he played an essential role in several of Manheim’s business initiatives, including the acquisition of ADT Automotive and the launches of both Manheim Interactive and AutoTrader.com. Eisner also served as managing director of Cox International, based in London, and as treasurer of Cox Enterprises.

In addition, Jed Connelly, senior vice president, sales and marketing at Nissan North America Inc. (NNA) will be a CAR keynote speaker on “Product and Residual Values” in the remarketing industry.

The annual conference will also feature a notable lineup of industry experts who will address the industry's latest market trends, best practices, business forecasts, and technology developments. In addition, exhibitors will demonstrate the newest products and services.
