ATLANTA – Manheim’s Arena Auto Auction in Bolingbrook, Ill., will host a milestone event for General Motors on Jan. 20, when the 10 millionth vehicle remarketed by GM at auction will be sold.

The Arena auction, which was named GM’s Auction of the Year in 2000, planned two days of activities to celebrate the occasion. On the evening of Jan. 19, the auction hosted a casino-themed vehicle party and vehicle preview for dealers and executives from GM and Manheim. On sale day, all dealers in attendance will receive a commemorative jacket. When the 10 millionth car is sold during the auction’s regular 10 a.m. CST factory sale (in which 1,200 vehicles will be offered in the lanes and via Simulcast), one lucky dealer will receive an all-expenses-paid trip and seat at the table at a Las Vegas poker tournament.
