INDIANAPOLIS – Auction Broadcasting Company (ABC) opened its newly dedicated PowerSports facility, located at 3111 South Post Road, on the grounds of ABC Indianapolis. On opening day, ABC PowerSports held an auction of 500+ PowerSports vehicles – motorcycles, watercraft, dirt bikes, sports bikes, and ATVs. "We began our PowerSports sales about six months ago, with a sale every other month," said ABC Indianapolis General Manager John Combs. "The response to our PowerSports sales has been so tremendous, we have already doubled in volume. So, we decided to build a dedicated facility to house these sales. We plan to increase our PowerSports sales to once a month, starting in February."

ABC was one of the first major auto auctions to establish a PowerSports Division six months ago, and, with the opening of this site, the company becomes the first auction chain to have a dedicated PowerSports building. In addition to the auction area, the 20,000-square-foot facility houses a reconditioning area, a mechanical shop, and an office. "Basically, the PowerSports Division will be self-contained," continued Combs. "Everything will be done in this one building – from reconditing, condition reports, mechanical work, and auctioning the units. We also have an area for taking digital photos for Internet sales."
