Jennifer Maggart has been named national account manager for both the Kansas and Missouri Auto Auctions, reports owner Gregg Boswell. She will direct customer service activities for national consignors at both auction facilities, as well as develop new business.

Maggart has been a member of the Kansas Auto Auction since 1997, when she was hired as a new car store field representative. In 2001, she assumed duties as sales manager. Prior to her work at Kansas Auto Auction, she worked in the sales department for the Manheim auction in Kansas City.

“A graduate of Central Missouri State University with a degree in business administration, Maggart will also formulate a sales and marketing training program at both auctions. Maggart reports that her initial goals will be to work with employees in the fleet/lease/repo departments to optimize the efficiency of the auction process from the point a vehicle is assigned to the auction to the issue of the check after the sale.

In other personnel news, Boswell also reports that Melissa Miller has been promoted to the position of sales manager at the Kansas Auto Auction. She has worked at the auction since 1995 in a variety of capacities.
