With increases in consignments and rapid growth in its customer base, Sparkling City Auto Auction plans to install a new computer system. According to Wade Walker, owner, the auction’s business has grown by 33 percent over the past three months, straining the capacity of the auction’s current system.

When we moved into our new facility two years ago, we expected the computer system to take us at least five years down the road. But with the increase in our customer base and the number of units being registered on a weekly basis, we’re pushing the limits of the present system,” noted Walker.

The first stages of installation happened in February, and the new system should be up and running by the end of May, according to Walker.
