The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) and the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA) have teamed with Manheim Auctions to offer the Official Auction Training Course to keep automotive dealers informed on the latest developments in vehicle wholesaling.

The course is designed for franchised or independent dealers; wholesalers; fleet/lease companies; and financial institutions. Topics covered in the training course include:

  • Controlling aged inventory.

  • Making money not only in the turn, but in the number of turns.

  • Learning the market and market-specifics in certain areas of the country.

  • Appraising vehicles accurately and estimating reconditioning costs effectively.

  • Taking advantage of all the convenient and "higher profit potential" services the auction offers.

The next class will be held April 15-17 at the Greater Tampa Bay Auto Auction. Other course locations are: May 20-22 at Omaha Auto Auction; June 2-4 at Dallas Auto Auction; June 17-19 at Greater Chicago Auto Auction; and Aug. 6-8 at Manheim Auto Auction.
