General Motors Remarketing Services (GMRS) will launch its Web-based inventory management system for remarketing clients this fall, after a pilot test. Through GMRemarketingServices.com, GMRS and its customers will have full inventory visibility, access to online reports, and data analysis capabilities. The system will automate and streamline the processes, and customers will be able to de-fleet and track their vehicles through the selling process more easily.

After electronically receiving a client’s inspection form, GMRS will manage the selling process through the system. The tasks of assigning vehicles to auction, arranging transportation, reviewing condition reports, and authorizing repairs will be enabled through the Web. Through the process, clients will be able to monitor inventory and access reports. Access and privacy will be secured through the management system’s password hierarchy application.

AutoIMS.com, a product of Auto Auction Services Corp. (AASC), powers GMRemarketingServices.com. AASC offers a suite of web-based inventory management solutions that streamline the flow of information between consignors and auctions.
