ServNet’s new executive leadership — which includes Executive Director John Brasher and Administrative Director Robert Sullivan — has outlined three focus areas for 2020 aimed at technology, growth, and data analytics.

Brasher noted two new technological tools that have recently been introduced by ServNet auctions that are part of the group’s ongoing commitment to technology.

One of the tools is TURN Auctions, a mobile-based auction platform with enhanced buyer protections. The tool was developed by Ryan Clark, owner of Greater Rockford Auto Auction.

The tool was launched at Greater Rockford Auto Auction in Fall 2018 and rolled out in Spring 2019.

DAA Northwest will premiere a MAG-Now event at the end of this month, which will employ technology developed through a partnership between EBlock and Auction Edge. Following the event’s debut at DAA Northwest, the program will expand to other independent auctions nationwide.

“TURN Auctions, and the EBLock/Auction Edge integration are the latest in a long line of tools that have been developed, tested or deployed by our ServNet auctions,” said Brasher.  “They mark the beginning of a new wave of innovation at ServNet auctions that will gather even more momentum as new investments, partnerships and ventures take place.”

On the matter of growth, ServNet’s leadership stated that a key element in supporting growth will be tied to developing ServNet’s analytics.

Sullivan noted that Phase 1 of an expanded analytics program is being developed and it will include operational data from ServNet auction locations. The data gathered is meant to deliver increased levels of service to customers and improve operations, it is also expected to lead to the sharing of beset practices and strategy discussions at ServNet owners’ meetings.
