In the truck segment, subcompact luxury crossovers and full-size vans saw the steepest drop in value, as the vehicles depreciated 1.61% and 1.45%, respectively.

Depreciation fell in line with seasonal expectations last week, as both wholesale trucks and cars saw similar levels of depreciation, according to Black Book’s Dec. 23 Market Insights report.

Overall car segment values decreased 0.68% last week, compared to 0.92% the week before. Overall truck segment values decreased 0.71% last week, compared to 0.85% the week before.

Subcompact and sporty cars experienced the highest depreciation within the car segment at 1.19% and 1.17%, respectively.

Luxury cars had a relatively strong week and saw the lowest depreciation within the car segment at 0.39%.
