Copart has opened a new location in Antelope, Calif., the company announced.
The addition of the new location was motivated, in part, by the company's commitment to adding vehicle storage capacity in California, said Copart CEO Jay Adair.
The new location holds online auctions every Thursday at noon. Eligible buyers can bid on inventory through their computers, smartphones, tablets, or bidding kiosks available onsite.
The new location will sit on top of 41 acres and Michael Sprifke will act as the general manager.
