Manheim has expanded its mobile auction network this year, and plans to expand its network further into new cities in the northeast, Midwest, mid-Atlantic, and southeast in order to meet dealer and consignor demand for remarketing options in those cities, according to a company announcement.

In the northeast, Manheim plans to add four additional sales across Reading, Penn.; Utica, N.Y.; Rochester, N.Y.; Long Island, N.Y.

In the Midwest, Manheim has added a lane at its Manheim St. Louis South County location. It is also opening a new sale in Missouri in November. The company is also opening its first mobile sale in Iowa in the Des Moines area and a mobile sale north of Flint, Mich.

In the mid-Atlantic, Manheim has expanded its existing Manheim Roanoke sale and opened a new location in Richmond, Va.

In the southeast, Manheim has opened a new sale in Tallahassee, Fla.

“Hosted via dedicated units outfitted to conduct sales in-person and via Simulcast, Manheim’s mobile sales include an auctioneer and support staff, along with services dealers appreciate, including financing, condition reports and assurance solutions,” according to the company announcement.

Manheim currently conducts more than 65 mobile auction sales per month. On average, dealers realize a 63% sales rate in these auctions.

Consignors provide the vehicles and the location; ideally they have 100 vehicles for sale each month, according to Manheim.
