Hyundai and Lexus offer the best certified-vehicle programs in 2018 for consumers shopping for used vehicles, according to the third-party shopping website Autotrader.

Hyundai's certified pre-owned vehicles come with a factory warranty that extends to its original five years or 60,000 miles for bumper-to-bumper coverage and 10 years or 100,000 miles of powertrain coverage. The coverage can be transferred to subsequent owners.

Lexus offers six years of bumper-to-bumper coverage from its original sale date and no mileage limit. Lexus also offers free maintenance for the next four services for two years or 20,000 miles and a loaner car program.

Hyundai was ranked as the overall winner in the non-luxury category. Other top programs included Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Honda, Kia, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, and Toyota.

Lexus topped the luxury category followed by Acura, Audi, Cadillac, Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln, Porsche, and Volvo.
