Bob White, executive VP and COO for ARI, will be the opening keynote speaker for the International Automotive Remarketing Alliance (IARA) Roundtable meetings, which will be held concurrently with the 2018 Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR) at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, March 6 to 7, 2018.

White’s keynote speech on March 6 will explore the past, present, and future disruptions in the remarketing industry, and ways to be prepared for changes, according to the IARA. It will explore how innovative ideas and technology enhancements are causing disruption within the automotive and remarketing industry (e.g. effects from the internet, the popularity of ride sharing, electric vehicles, etc.)

White is responsible for all ARI U.S. day-to-day-operations and for the ARI companies in Canada, Mexico, the U.K. and Europe, according to the company. He has strategic and operational experience overseeing ARI’s vehicle supply chain and remarketing, licensing and compliance, and fleet management and call center teams, as well as global product management.

The CAR conference, which is hosted and organized by Bobit Business Media, the IARA, and the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA), provides attendees with numerous opportunities to network and build their personal and professional connections. Topics discussed at the conference include new technologies, wholesale market conditions, industry standardization, and more.

Registration for the IARA Roundable meetings and the CAR conference is open now. IARA committee meetings will begin March 5, the day before the official start of CAR. Registration for a full conference pass is $895 before Feb. 2, 2018, but will raise $100 the following day.
