AutoServ has begun offering its revamped logistics management tool that was developed to help charities manage donations of used vehicles to a broader audience, the company announced.

"Our legacy system helped us prove the need for increased efficiency and transparency for vehicle donors, charities, auctions, scrap yards and transporters.  After a number of years, and diminishing support for that system, we made the deliberate decision to start over from scratch," said Jason Cotton, President of AudoServ.  "It was clear from the start that using existing industry partners was the right path to supported software with a broad reach and proven track record."

The integrations did not come without challenges, but AutoIMS and Auction Edge worked with the AudoServ team to get the job done.  "It was a great experience working with John Green, Kathy Williamson, Joe Miller, and Keely Smith.  The knowledge, and dedication of these industry professionals is unbelievable." Added Cotton.

"We have designed AudoServ to handle the complex issues related to managing the donation process, but have kept it easy to implement and use," said Cotton.

While a new name to many, AudoServ has been in operation for years as the company refined their approach and technology, and now offers charities the advantages of up to180 independent auctions augmented by a low-cost centralized vehicle distribution network, all powered in conjunction with Auction Edge and AutoIMS.

"We strive to achieve the highest returns for our charities while giving donors the best customer service possible, and partnering with Audoserv helped us achieve these goals," said Jamie Heiligman, director of operations at National Fundraising Management.

During testing, AudoServ remarketed 40,000 vehicles through its logistics management system, allowing users to maximize asset returns by reducing cancellations while increasing efficiency and avoiding costly IT expenditures. Currently, integrations with multiple large-scale charities and auto recycling companies are in the works which will provide the user an even more robust and streamlined experience. The AudoServ system offers real-time visibility and management of assigned vehicles, from the point of donation to funds settlement.

"In creating AudoServ, we understood the influence it could have within our industry, and are excited to see our partners recognize how easy it is to use," Cotton said.

AudoServ is now accepting applications from independent auctions to become partners in the AudoServ Network.
