Auction Management Solutions, Inc. (AMS) has partnered with Rea Brothers’ Mid-South Auction (RBMSA) for business development consulting, bringing the firm’s total list of clients to 17, according to a company announcement.

“To have RBMSA part of the AMS auction network and to have the Rea family back in the auction business, continuing their high level of personal service both dealers and consignors have come to expect for over four decades is exciting,” said Tom Stewart, president of AMS.

The Rea family recently reentered the auto auction business last year when it repurchased its Mississippi-based auction in 2016, six years after selling it. The Rea family — which has been in the auction business in Mississippi since 1972 — sold its auction to the American Auto Auction Group in 2010. In 2014, the auction became part of the XLerate Group.

RBMSA sits atop 48 acres of land in Pearl, Miss. The auction offers six lanes, full reconditioning and mechanical facilities, light mechanical services, in-house transportation, AutoIMS, and online capabilities.

AMS provides consulting services to the automotive industry. The consulting firm, which was launched in 2016, counts independent auto auctions, service providers, and vendors in its portfolio of clients.
