Carvana Adds Next-Day Shipping to S.C. Markets

Carvana has expanded its next-day delivery in the Southeast region by giving South Carolina car buyers in Columbia and Greenville access to next-day delivery, the company announced.

“As we continue to expand our presence in the Southeast, we’re proud to now include Columbia and Greenville on the growing list of cities with free, as-soon-as-next-day vehicle delivery,” said Ernie Garcia, founder and CEO of Carvana. "With summer right around the corner, we hope their Saturdays can now be spent on the golf course or at the beach instead of at a dealership."

Carvana allows car buyers to purchase used vehicles online. Through Carvana's website, customers can search for, purchase, finance, and trade in a car online from their computer, tablet, or mobile phone.

While next-day shipping is one feature that Carvana touts, the company is also allowing car buyers to opt into its “Fly and Drive” program if they would prefer to pick up the vehicle in person. Through the program, Carvana will subsidize $200 of the airfare so that an interested car buyer can pick up his or her vehicle at a car vending machine in Austin, Texas; Dallas; Houston; Nashville, Tenn.; or San Antonio.

Earlier this month, Carvana expanded its presence in Illinois, by expanding the reach of its next-day delivery to Chicago.
