Carvana has raised the total number of markets it where it offers one-day delivery to 25 with its expansion into Chicago, according to a company announcement.

This expansion marks the company’s first market in Illinois. With this expansion, an estimated 13 million consumers in the greater Chicagoland area will now be able to get free next day delivery on any of the over 7,300 vehicles that comprise Carvana’s used-vehicle inventory.

“Chicago is our most populated market to date,” said Ernie Garcia, founder and CEO of Carvana. “Not only is it the northernmost market we’ve launched in, it’s home to the third largest population in the country. We can’t wait to show them the new way to buy a car.”

Carvana allows car buyers to purchase used vehicles online. Through Carvana's website, customers can search for, purchase, finance, and trade in a car online from their computer, tablet, or mobile phone. While this expansion will allow Chicago customers who purchase their vehicles through Carvana’s online marketplace to schedule home delivery for vehicles as soon as the next day, Carvana also offers a "Fly and Drive Program."

The program allows Chicago area customers who would rather pick up their vehicle at one of Carvana's car vending machines in Austin, Texas; Dallas; Houston; Nashville, Tenn.; or San Antonio, to get $200 of their airfare to one of those car vending machines subsidized by Carvana.
