Copart, Inc. has opened its sixth location in Brazil, according to a company announcement. Its sixth location will be located in Betim, Minas Gerais and will offer a wide selection of salvage and used vehicles, the company noted.

The new location will be able to store up to 4,000 vehicles, and will host weekly auctions at 10 a.m. UTC-3.

"The new location in Betim supports us with our current growth in volume," said Adiel Avelar, president – Brazil. "We're very excited to celebrate our first opening outside São Paulo state."

According to the company, the opening in Betim, Minas Gerais will add to Copart’s strategic network of locations across Brazil that will allow it to service a growing buyer base and add more storage and sales capacity to meet growing demand from vehicle sellers.

Copart Brazil was recently honored with the best auction company with the "Prêmio Cobertura Performance 2016: Destaques Especiais – Leiloeiros Oficiais" award, according to the company.
