Manheim Detroit will be holding, what the company is calling, one of the largest truck-only sales on Feb. 23 at 9:30 a.m.

The Canadian Super Sellers — one of Canada’s largest truck exporters — will supply 1,000 4x4 trucks for the one-day sale in an effort to help buyers stock up for the growing retail demand.

“Four of our lanes will run models from every manufacturer ranging from $5,000 to $60,000+ wholesale,” said Mandy Savage, Manheim Detroit general manager. “The Canadian Super Sellers is a valuable partner, offering 50,000+ vehicles at our location for several years.”

All vehicles running in the sale will feature condition reports and images, according to the company. In addition, first time buyers from The Canadian Super Seller will receive $100 off every vehicle purchased during the sale.

“I’m partnering with the Manheim Detroit team to run this specialty sale because they have really helped me grow my buyer base,” says Michael Hymus of The Canadian Super Sellers. “With Manheim’s expertise, and the largest selection of pre-owned, full-size 4x4 trucks in the world, we are ready to offer buyers just what they’re looking for to meet consumer demand and maximize their profits.”

According to Manheim, now is a good time to invest in truck wholesale inventory. In 2016, the pickup truck segment saw prices for its units increase by 4.3%, according to the Manheim 2016 Used Car Market Report.

“Pick-up trucks are sustaining their value longer because there is not as much inventory in the marketplace,” says Cox Automotive Chief Economist, Tom Webb. “This bucks the current trend that wholesale pricing is slipping from month to month.”

The Toyota Tacoma Double Cab, Chevrolet Colorado Crew Cab and GMC Grand Canyon Crew Cab have the top three highest retention values in the mid-size pickup truck segment, according to Kelley Blue Book. For full-size pickups, the Toyota Tundra Double Cab, Nissan Titan Crew Cab, and GMS Sierra 1500 Double Cab hold the highest retention.
