United Road Names President and Chairwoman

United Road Services has named Mark Anderson as the company’s next president. He will be taking over for Kathleen McCann, who will now serve as the company’s chairwoman.

Anderson also serves as the company’s COO, a position he has held since joining in January 2014, according to the company.

"I have great confidence in Mark's ability to work with our exceptional team in growing our business. I trust him and know that his energy and dedication to our people, our customers, and our company will serve us all well," said McCann, whose tenure as president began in 2011.

Anderson has over 25 years of professional experience leading several multi-dimensional businesses with significant logistics components.

Meanwhile, McCann has lead as the company’s CEO since June 2012.

“I am confident that Kathleen, Mark, and their team will continue to build on this progress, displaying the drive, talent, and focused execution that have solidified the company's position as a market leader," said Michael Eisenson, who previously served as chairman for the company. "I look forward to offering my continued support as a member of the board.”
