The ADESA Indianapolis auction raised more than $34,000 for JDRF, a leading advocacy group for people with type 1 diabetes.

The funding was raised during two charity events. One of the charity events was the seventh annual car show, which attracted 71 cars and motorcycles from the local community and beyond. The second event was a wine tasting that raised over $16,000.

“This is a cause that is close to my heart,” said Dave Emerson, ADESA Indianapolis general manager, “I’m overwhelmed each year at the generosity of our customers, and I thank them for their continued support.”

Emerson is a past corporate chairman of the Indianapolis Walk to Cure Diabetes, which benefits JDRF.
