Central Auto Auction recently commemorated 10 years of success since raising the gates on its first lane Feb. 28, 2006.

“Despite what’s going on in the world, Central has a solid foundation from which to build our business,” says President and Founder, Peter Saldamarco. Saldamarco attributes the company’s sturdy survival rate to working within a conservative business context, including no incurred debt and cautious credit extension guidelines, as well as unsurpassed customer service, a sound work ethic, and a diverse product offering.

Central continues to reinforce its revenue structure with a substantial focus on Internet sales platforms, including offering all vehicles and all lanes on simulcast, as well as build its arsenal of commercial accounts, including GSA, fleet, lease, repo, municipal, and charity vehicles. Central offers approximately 400 vehicles per week in three lanes, soon to be four, to a consistent audience of approximately 200 bidders each week.

Central Auto Auction’s 10-year milestone was marked with its traditional Anniversary Sale featuring The Big Green Truck Pizza (biggreentruckpizza.com), serving up gourmet pizza straight out of a 1947 International former fire truck, fully restored and equipped with an authentic Italian brick pizza oven.

Central Auto Auction is the closest independent auto auction to New York City, and Connecticut’s first sale of the week, held each and every Tuesday promptly at 10:15.
