Manheim Canada has selected Don Wallace as general manager of Manheim Toronto. In this role, Wallace is responsible for all business operations at Manheim’s Canadian flagship location, and the country’s first and largest auction.

A respected industry veteran, Wallace brings a wealth of experience to the role. Since joining Manheim Canada two years ago, he has led e-business and product development for the company. Most recently he served as director of national accounts. Prior to joining Manheim, Wallace spent more than two decades with Chrysler Financial Services, including several years as a Manheim customer in his role as national remarketing manager.  His career spans a wide range of leadership roles and responsibilities, including sales and dealer relations.

“Don has been instrumental in enhancing our customers’ experience in Canada,” said Jerry Tassone, Manheim’s vice president of northeast operations. “His efforts have helped to expand our product offerings and our customer opportunities, including operations in the West.  I have no doubt he’ll apply the same energy and enthusiasm in his new role.”

“I have the advantage of already knowing that we have a great group of employees and customers at Manheim Toronto,” said Wallace. “I’m happy for the chance to build on such a solid foundation. The auction is where it all comes together for employees, customers, vehicles, technology, products and processes. I’m excited to have the opportunity to have a positive impact where the rubber meets the road.”

Wallace holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Athabasca in Edmonton, a Diploma of Business Administration from British Columbia Institute of Technology in Vancouver and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Victoria.
