As business continues on the upward trend, KCI Kansas City prepares for an increase in consignment numbers for its 5th Annual Corn Roast Sale.

"As the Corn Roast Sale nears, we are anticipating an increase in fleet, lease and dealer consigned units. We're hoping the increase will lead us to the largest Corn Roast Sale in our history," states Doug Doll, co-owner of KCI Kansas City.

KCI's Corn Roast Sale will take place on July 11th offering customers 1,000 fleet, lease and dealer consigned units. Along with the consignment, attending dealers will receive a limited-edition Corn Roast hat and enjoy hot, fresh, buttered, corn-on-the-cob while they work the lanes.

Thursday after the sale, customers are treated to an exclusive reception and luncheon with Kansas City Royals Hall-of-Famer, John Mayberry. With two American League All-Star selections, two time American League Bases on Balls Leader, and four consecutive seasons with 20 or more home runs, John Mayberry will captivate customers with his life-time experiences. The reception and luncheon will include a question and answer forum followed by an autograph session and a catered lunch.

"Over the years, we have incorporated our local Kansas City Royals Hall of Fame players into this promotion and it has proven to be successful with customers and staff," states Doll. "We are excited to have John Mayberry here for this year's sale. His stories and life experiences will be entertaining for our customers."

Together with DAA Northwest, EPI El Paso, and DAA Seattle, KCI Kansas City is a member of the McConkey Auction Group.
