History Hits the Auction Block at ADESA Phoenix

The Luxury Lane sale at ADESA Phoenix on April 24 will be featuring a very special 1954 Jaguar XK120 Roadster with a unique history.

This bank-owned classic is a rare factory two-seat roadster. Built to compete in road rallies and hill climb competitions, it features an upgraded, high performance power train.  The car also is a former Jaguar Clubs of North America (JCNA) National Race Car Class winner.

 “This vehicle is for dealers who are looking for something really special to add to their collection—it’s a real head-turner,” said Mike Russo, ADESA Phoenix general manager. “It’s nice to be able to offer our customers something a little different.”

In fact, the auction is making a name for itself as a premiere dealer “highline car auction in the west,” in not only selling the nameplates associated with highline cars, but is successful in offering some of the best in classic and muscle cars.
